[ARCHIVED] Mayor & Council District 2 up for balloting this year

FBTX ~ At the close of filing for the 2020 Farmers Branch City Council elections, two candidates had filed in each race - for Mayor and for Council District 2.

   In the Mayor’s race, Brenda Brodrick will face incumbent Robert C. Dye. For Council District 2, Michael Driskill is running against Nic Rady. Incumbent District 2 Councilmember Bronson Blackson is not seeking re-election.

   Early Voting is planned for Monday through Saturday, April 20 through 25 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Sunday, April 26 from 1 until 6 p.m.; and Monday & Tuesday, April 27 & 28, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Voting will take place on Election Day, Saturday, May 2, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Dallas County polling locations.
