Police seek assistance in locating attempted child abduction suspect

FBTX ~ Farmers Branch Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who reportedly attempted to abduct a 12-year-old child on Saturday, from the 14200 block of Heritage Circle.

   The victim told police that the suspect approached her in the early afternoon and displayed some type of weapon, possibly a stun gun. She was able to get away from the suspect with minor injuries.Child abduction suspect profile pic

   The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 40-50 years of age, 5’0” tall, medium build with a gray/white mustache. The suspect was wearing a blue baseball hat (turned backwards), blue short-sleeve shirt and jeans. The suspect fled the area towards Josey Lane in an older model silver midsized car with no tint on the windows.
