    Instructors: Victoria Anderson- Museum Educator and Bonnie Neumann- Historical Cultural Specialist. Crafts and sewing with Paloma (DISD Art Teacher) in the afternoon. Join the Historical Park on an adventure to meet girls from the past who have shaped America! Experience the life of girls from Tejas and the American Frontier through the Civil War and World War II. This camp will explore the impact girls have made throughout American history! A snack will be provided. Camp will meet in the Dodson House. Some activities will take place outdoors. Please bring a sack lunch and a water bottle every day to camp.

  6. Cancelled ~ Family Star Party

    July 17, 2020, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Historical Park

    Bring your own picnic and enjoy the sunset. The Texas Astronomical Society will provide a variety of telescopes for viewing the moon, Star Clusters, Open Star Clusters, Globular Star Clusters, Planetary Nebulae, and summer constellations. In addition, participants are encouraged to bring their own telescopes.

  1. Resident Document Shredding & Recycling Dropoff

    Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful will host a Document Shredding and Textile Recycling Drop Off event on Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at City Hall. Open only to Farmers Branch residents, household documents can be sent into the shredding truck onsite while Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful will be on hand to collect textile donations of all kinds.
