Don't pour your Thanksgiving grease down the drain.  

Starting Saturday November 28, 2020 the Citizen Collection Center, located in Farmers Branch at 1399 Valley View Lane, will accept used cooking oil and grease.

WHEN: Between 9am and 6pm 

  • November 28th

  • December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 26, 31

  • January 2nd

CCC closed Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Farmers Branch provides two local options for residents to recycle everyday items that otherwise go to the landfill. For a list of what items that can be recycled, view or download Where Does It Go?

Recycling can be placed in a vendor provided cart.
Recycling is also accepted at the Citizen Collection Station. This is a drive up and drop off facility that accepts recycling, including E-recycling, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9 AM and 6 PM.
