*Firecracker Fast Pass

Available to Farmers Branch residents in advance. This pass allows free entry but does not guarantee event admission. Admission to the Independence Day Celebration is first-come, first-served, and if the Historical Park reaches capacity then overflow viewing is available at nearby Liberty Plaza.

Gates open at 6 pm for Firecracker Fast Pass holders.

Holders of the Firecracker Fast Pass will enjoy access only entrance lines as well as a 30-minute early entry into the event to allow for priority seating. Food and beverage will be available for early purchase, but please note that some event activities, such as the KidZone, will not open until 6:30 pm.

How do I get a Firecracker Fast Pass?

Firecracker Fast Passes will be mailed out in advance to Farmers Branch residents in the June/July edition of the Branch Review. Please clip the voucher and present it at the gates.

What if I want to pick up a Firecracker Fast Pass in person?

Firecracker Fast Passes will also be available beginning Monday, June 11 at the following locations during normal business hours.

  • Farmers Branch Aquatics Center - 14032 Heartside Place
  • Farmers Branch Historical Park - 2540 Farmers Branch Lane
  • Farmers Branch Recreation Center – 14050 Heartside Place
  • Farmers Branch The Branch Connection – 14055 Dennis Lane
  • Information Desk at Farmers Branch City Hall – 13000 William Dodson Parkway

Farmers Branch residents must present a current photo ID or utility bill that shows a Farmers Branch address.  Limit one pass per Farmers Branch household.

What happens if I don't get a Firecracker Fast Pass?

Farmers Branch residents who arrive at the Historical Park gates without a Firecracker Fast Pass can still enjoy free entry – at the gate please present a photo ID that shows a Farmers Branch address.

General Store Exhibit

Celebrate the Birth of our Nation with the patriotic General Store display. Come peruse the shop to see 1920's merchandise you could have purchased for your Independence Day party. Items include patriotic ready-made decorations, create-your-own crafts, costumes, glassware, and even baked goods. Exhibit runs through Labor Day.

    Ride in on the Trails of Farmers Branch - there is bicycle parking inside the VIP gates.
    Or go green and ride DART to the event! The Farmers Branch Historical Park is a few hundred yards south of the event grounds.

    All bags will be inspected by Police

    No pets or outside alcohol will be allowed at this event. Patrons can bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Items not allowed inside the gates:

    • Pets or animals (except for service dogs)
    • Alcohol (not permitted to enter or leave event grounds)
    • Illegal drugs
    • Smoking inside the event site
    • Hazardous Materials
    • Contraband
    • Frisbees
    • Canopies or Pop-Up Tents
    • Skate boards, Roller Blades, In-Line Skates and Bicycles
    • Golf Carts and ATV’s
    • Unauthorized sales, solicitations and distributions

    The City of Farmers Branch strives to make sure our outdoor events are ADA accessible.

    ADA Facilities- Farmers Branch Historical Park

    • Parking
      Free, limited ADA parking is available near the festival grounds at 12300 Ford Road.  Parking is on a first come, first served basis.   For our Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival and Independence Day Celebration, the city does provide an ADA golf cart to shuttle patrons from this parking area.  
    • Service Animals
      Persons with disabilities and their service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for those persons with disabilities are welcome at City of Farmers Branch events. 
    • Accessibility
      The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages and event areas.  Accessible restrooms are located inside The Ladonia House located on the main brick path. 
    • While at an event if you have a disability and require an accommodation, please locate event staff.   Requests will be addressed as reasonably and quickly as possible.
    • Prior to an event/festival, accommodation requests for persons with disabilities should be made at least 14 days in advance by contacting the City of Farmers Branch at or via phone at 972-919-2631.
