Farmers Branch Manske Library patrons can access thousands of digital graphic novels and comics. Patrons have anytime, anywhere access with Web-connected devices such as tablets, PCs, and smartphones. Patrons can check out as many titles as they would like, and the titles are always available, with no holds or waiting periods.

Download MP3 songs that are yours to keep! Current limits are set at five downloads per week. Your counter will set back to zero each week, Monday morning; then you can download five more tunes during the new week. TumbleBooks Library

TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks Library takes existing picture books and adds animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book that kids can read or have read to them.


A self-guided online software program that teaches you how to code through hundreds of hours of coding tutorials and dozens of real-world projects.  Learn how to build websites, video games, apps, and animations while increasing your understanding of programming languages such as HTML, Javascript, and Scratch. Tutorials also assist in developing a better understanding of coding devices such as Makey Makey and Ozobot.

The New York Times

Access New York Times articles offsite from 1851 to today through the Farmers Branch Library. Click "Redeem" at the following link to obtain access for a 24 hour period. Note: if you are accessing from inside the library (using our WiFi or computers) all you need to do is sign in to NYTimes.com. No redemption code is required when accessing inside the library.
