Independence Day Celebration & 75th Anniversary

Firecracker Fast Pass 20212

Celebrate Independence Day with Us!

Friday, July 2 | 6:30 - 10 p.m. | Farmers Branch Historical Park

Early Entry at 6 p.m. for residents with a Firecracker Fast Pass

This year’s annual patriotic salute takes on a special meaning as the City of Farmers Branch also celebrates its 75th Anniversary of becoming an official Texas city! In 1946, residents of Farmers Branch voted to incorporate into a municipality, and today we recognize and celebrate our history and heritage.

Mayor Robert Dye, our current city council, and other past dignitaries will recognize the occasion from the main stage, and we’ve enhanced this year’s fireworks show to give this City’s birthday, as well as our country’s, a proper night to remember.

As you enter the park be sure and grab your free, commemorative backpack. Five of the backpacks contain a “golden ticket” that can be redeemed on-site at the Information Booth – lucky winners will receive a customized cooler from RTIC that features the 75th anniversary logo and other cool swag!

There will be displays throughout the park highlighting the past 75 years as well as volunteers dressed in period costumes. One of Farmers Branch's newest restaurants, Cedar Creek Brewhouse & Eatry will provide a commemorative beer in a 75th anniversary collectors cup.
