Responding to the census helps communities get the funding they need. Census data impacts our daily lives, informing important decisions about funding for services and infrastructure in our community, including health care, jobs, political representation, roads, schools, and businesses. More than $675 billion in federal funding flows back to states and local communities each year based on census data.
Who Can Fill Out the Census |
We need everyone living in Farmers Branch to fill out the survey. Only one survey per household is needed but it should account for everyone living in that household. While there was some recent discussion about a citizenship question on the survey, the 2020 Census DOES NOT include questions about citizenship. Additionally, all answers on the survey are completely confidential and are only used to produce statistics.
There will be a variety of ways to get involved and help promote participation in the 2020 Census in Farmers Branch. If you are interested in getting involved in this very important survey, click on the button to the right, fill out the form and a Farmers Branch Census Committee Member will get in touch with you.
