Artchella

Artchella Presents ARTvengers Camp


Monday - Friday | June 15 - 19 | 9 am - 4 pm


Ages 5 – 12
Fee:  $200 includes all materials; space is limited and pre-registration is required
Fee:  $50 before and after care from 8 – 9 am and 4 – 5 pm with snack provided; space is limited and pre-registration is required

Artchella is the perfect camp for creative kids! Artchella presents ARTvengers week long camp at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. Campers will make superhero gadgets, design a superhero emblem, create a superhero cape, and more. Activities also include drawing, painting, screen-printing, sewing, and sure to be lots of fun. Art superpowers, activate!  Camp will meet in the Dodson House and some activities will take place outdoors. 

Please bring a sack lunch and water bottle to camp every day.

Howdy' artists, the Historical Park has a creative camp for you! Artchella Goes West camp will let your imagination run wild while making bandanas, dream catchers, terrariums, and more. Activities also include drawing, painting, sewing, planting, roping, lawn games, and a whole lot of fun!  Camp will meet in the Dodson House. Some activities will take place outdoors. 

Please bring a sack lunch and water bottle every day to camp.

Girls Make History

Girls Make History Camp 


Monday - Friday | July 13 - 17 | 9 am – 4 pm


Ages 6 - 12
Fee:  $200 includes all supplies; space is limited and pre-registration is required
Fee:  $50 before and after care from 8 – 9 am and 4 – 5 pm; space is limited and pre-registration is required

Instructors: Victoria Anderson- Museum Educator and Bonnie Neumann- Historical Cultural Specialist.  Crafts and sewing with Paloma (DISD Art Teacher) in the afternoon.

Join the Historical Park on an adventure to meet girls from the past who have shaped America! Experience the life of girls from Tejas and the American Frontier through the Civil War and World War II. This camp will explore the impact girls have made throughout American history! A snack will be provided.  Camp will meet in the Dodson House. Some activities will take place outdoors.
